In 2004, Alpha Engineering Records was born. There was too much good music not getting heard, too many great songs going to waste. So, with absolutely no experience, skill or contacts, we decided to do something about it.

Since then, a lot has happened, most of which we can't remember. Some things stand out more than others. Almost going bankrupt, Heaven 17 destroying London Scala, trying to convince Kelly Brook to invest, Locus of Control going on tour with the mighty Goldfinger, Antihero being championed by John Peel, The Klaxons forming at one of our famous barbecues, not having enough money to sign Kids In Glass Houses, spending everything we had on going to Vegas so Stants could get married, watching Pull Tiger Tail get signed like little Alpha soldiers and waking up from it all with a very bad hangover.

We're now getting ready to sign more bands, put out more records and have more amazing stuff happen to us. Please come with us. And while you're here, you might as well buy some records too. God Bless You. One and All. Especially if you're going to buy us a pint.
